What is meant by Transformer? :-
What is meant by Transformer? |
The
transformer is a static device by means of which electric power is transfer
from one alternating current circuit to another with desire change in voltage and current without any change in frequency is called Transformer.
1) Transformer is a device which
transfer electric power from one circuit to another circuit.
2) It does so without change of
frequency.
3) It is achieve by electromagnetic induction.
4) When to electric circuit are in
mutual inductive influence of each other transfer of power takes place.
What is the Working Principle of Transformer? :-
Working Principle of Transformer |
It work on
principle of Mutual induction of two coils or Faraday’s law of electromagnetic
induction when current in primary coil is changed the flux linked to the
secondary coil also changes hence EMF is induced in the secondary coil due to
faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction.
Which Material is used for transformer? :-
Material is used for transformer |
Cold Rolled
Grain Oriented Silicon Steel (CRGO Silicon Steel) And
Cast Iron
material is used for transformer.
Silicon
Steel is used for transformer to reduce the Hysteresis loss.
Copper is
used for transformer winding.
